Who We Are
Cedar Spaces is a small, family-run construction company dedicated to building beautiful garden rooms tailored to your needs. All of our work and building is completed in line with present industry standards and regulations and our professional team deliver all aspects of the build without the need to involve external contractors. Based in Harpenden, our team is experienced across all areas of general building but now works exclusively on the advice, design and build of beautiful outdoor, cedar clad spaces. Our rooms are heated and fully insulated, providing a comfortable space to work in and enjoy whatever the season. Our rooms are finished with full electrical installation, skimmed plaster walls, laminate flooring, LED downlights and premium Aluminium or uPVC doors and windows.

At Cedar Spaces, all of our projects meet the strictest standards of build quality and we incorporate all of your design wishes into the final build. We refuse to cut corners and believe some of the hidden details are the most important to ensure the longevity and structural integrity of your garden room. More importantly, we want to deliver flexible designs that deliver safe and sturdy constructions that will last a lifetime.
INTEGRATED SHED
We understand the need for secure garden storage space. We can build internal rooms and include a 'shed space' as part of your design. This will include a cloaked door in cedar cladding to seamlessly integrate with your beautiful garden room.
SMART LIGHTING
External lighting will highlight the beauty of your garden room and can be installed using the latest smart switch technology that can be easily controlled from your smartphone or home speaker device such as Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

LOW MAINTENANCE
Our cedar clad garden rooms are practically maintenance free. Cedar wood is rich in natural oils and doesn’t require treatment. To retain its natural shades, it can be treated with translucent UV protecting oils, or left exposed to the elements it will naturally discolor slightly to beautiful silvery shades.
